DIY Technologies: Arduino, Raspberry Pi & 3D
Description:
This course provides an introduction to Arduino, Raspberry Pi and 3D printer technologies. Participants will explore the different types of Arduino and their basic functions, learning how to use the Arduino IDE and how to create programs for the Arduino Uno. Various sensors and examples of their use in programmed Arduino devices will also be examined.
In the Raspberry Pi part, participants will be introduced to the world of microprocessing, learning about ports and the Raspbian operating system. They will also compare the capabilities of Arduino and Raspberry Pi and explore use cases and projects they can implement with the help of these devices.
In the 3rd lecture there is an introduction to the 3D printer, learning about their parts, printing materials and how to create 3D models. We will also explore the Ultimaker Cura software and get to know the 3D printing process.
