The Digital Innovation Hub of Western Macedonia SYNERGiNN EDIH has successfully organised the 2nd Developers Meeting of Western Macedonia, bringing together professionals and enthusiasts from the tech ecosystem. During the event, we exchanged ideas and insights on a wide range of projects, explored trending technologies, and discussed innovation, modern software development practices, system design principles and effective team collaboration.

In a dedicated talks session, Kostas Papacharissou shared valuable insights on “Laying the Groundwork: System Design Done Right” focusing on best practices and real-world approaches to building scalable and robust systems, while Dimitris Zagorakis presented “Dealing With the Past: Strategies for Legacy Code” highlighting practical techniques for maintaining, improving, and evolving existing software systems.

The event concluded with informal networking sessions, allowing participants to exchange experiences, foster collaborations and reinforce the regional tech ecosystem.
