Kozani welcomes Startup Europe Week Kozani 2026, an important international event that takes place within the framework of the 10th anniversary of the institution and brings innovation and start-up entrepreneurship to the forefront in Western Macedonia.

Within the framework of the Startup Europe Week pan-European network, the event brings together startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, students and marketers, creating a space for meeting, exchanging ideas and networking around innovation and technology.

With a focus on new technologies and digital innovation, Startup Europe Week Kozani 2026 will present modern trends, interesting startup paths and collaboration opportunities, while highlighting initiatives and actions developed within the academic and business community.

During the event, which is open to the public, student groups from the University of Western Macedonia will be presented, as well as dynamic technology startups with a successful track record, funding and innovation support opportunities, as well as the actions, collaborations and services of the SYNERGiNN EDIH Digital Innovation Hub.

The event will conclude with a networking session and light lunch, giving participants the opportunity to exchange ideas, create new collaborations and strengthen their networking in an environment of creativity, technology and entrepreneurial extroversion.

Startup Europe Week is one of the most important pan-European institutions for the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation, with actions taking place every year in dozens of cities in Europe. The event in Kozani is implemented within the framework of the Project “Digital Innovation Hub of Western Macedonia – SYNERGiNN EDIH”, with MIS Code 6001586, of the “Competitiveness 2021-2027” Program.

As part of Startup Europe Week, the SYNERGiNN EDIH Open Day will also take place, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 11:00–14:00, on the 3rd floor of the KTE on the Koila Campus.
